We’re now just under five years from the date that has spawned many web sites, including this one. Many who say 2012 is just another Y2k hype don’t quite understand the differences. Y2k was an event that was to happen at the stroke of midnight- an exact minute. The 2012 date will either prove itself as a real deal by what happens over the next five years or it won’t. We don’t have to wait until the clock strikes 11:11pm on December 21, 2012.
There also isn’t anything to buy to get ready. You don’t have to move to the mountains or buy gold coins. There are just seven simple steps to follow if anything at all.
So, as we close out the year 2007, we can see a lot of strang things that have happened in the climates around the world. Weather has been more than weird. But, is that a result of some catastrophic event(s) that might befall us in 2012? Or, is it the result of global warming- if there is such a thing. I’m still riding the fence in that regard though my “lean” seems to be tilting to global warming as a serious problem.
What I do know for surfe is that our civilization is on an increasing acceleration to somewhere. The amount of knowledge that we’re becoming open to is exponentially wearing us out. The technology is bringing us a connectivity that boggles the mind. Did I mention that our ability to kill each other in multiple and more expansive ways is increasing also?

If nothing happens from without (can you say universe?), stull is happening from within and on this planet that is forcing lifestyle changes on us beyond our ability to comprehend- or cope! Bottom line? The next five years, the next 60 months will be the most challenging ever in our history. What we’ll do with that challenge, only God knows.

Well if on dec 12 2012 the planets align and changes the earths magnetic poles, we will live or we will die, for sure we will die sooner or later. Keep your eyes, ears and heart open to the good lord/ you will be prepared. if it happens we wont have to worry about gas prices or mortgage payments. God Bless
i heard that december 21 2012 is the last day on the chinese and mayan calendar. why on that date? let’s hope that that day will bring good change on the earth. you never know, any one of us might be the change. pray to god that that day won’t take our last breath. peace

There certainly are great changes ahead. We are evolving so fast and with such vigour it is quite scary. Regarding 2012 - I guess you either believe it or you don’t. For those who ridicule - I respect their opinion, but that is all I respect. They should read more on the subject before bombasting others so readily

Only God knows what will happen on December 21, 2012…but till that happens we still have time in our hands..pray to God, ask forgiveness for your sins b’coz some day or the other we all have to FACE OUR GOD and answer God for whatever we have done in our respective lives.
Things will change come 2012, be it political, geophysical, alien invasion, or simply anarchy on an unprecedented scale.
When will people say enough is enough and stand up to the NWO.
I say these things will happen, as I feel it in the very core of my bones. Call it resonant frequency, a hunch, utter madness. It matters not.
The end is coming, 2012 sounds about right. We as the human race have gotten too big for are pants and I feel god will soon make things right just as he did with the dianasaurs.

Yes, above all keep the faith. Jesus said no one will know the exact time of the end of the world. The ancient calendars of the Chinese and the Mayans probably ended because they needed to change it like we did to our calendar, which we had to do to keep our dates going or, ours would have stopped too at a certain date. I do venture to say that maybe they do have the end of the world date of December 21, 2012, in closing, I am sceptical because of what Jesus said and the way our calandar and daylight savings had to change.
i for one believe that time is accelerating at a pace never know before. there are to many signs not to ignore about our upcoming way of lfe. that reality as we know it will change forever,depleting resources, natural disasters, we have been watching on the tube for ever with the little children dying from sickness, starvation, dehydration,and we think how awful that must be. well, i believe it is our turn ( civilized countries) to be the ones who will be doing the begging. Am i the only one that wakes up everyday and feels there is something i should be doing but dont know what it is? I believe God in his infinite wisdom has politley kicked us each in the ass to wake us up, because the time is not just coming, it is just about here. my answer to keep me sane is to tell God that my life is his,use me at His will, and to walk, talk,and sleep with compassion in my heart FRANK ZOELLNER
i dont understand why this subject isnt more in the news, it could be the biggest news story ever written,next to the bible. instead all we see is what all the ” haves” have and athletes getting paid what could take to run a medium size nation. I must be going crazy.
Can our scientists do some thing to stop this incident ? Because we have Many great scientists in the world who will decide and plan to stop any of the natural calamities that is going to happen in future.
