Where in the world did the Mayans come up with all of this 2012 nonsense? Or is it nonsense? ow could they have known with the limited skills that they possessed 2,500 years ago that there would be some galactic synchronization on December 21, 2012? Or, did they get this information from some other culture? Would that even be thinkable, let alone plausible?
Common folklore has it that Atlantis (for those that believe such a nation existed in the first place) sank into the Atlantic ocean on July 27th, 9792 BCE. The exact time of day was not recorded.
You know, people really believe this stuff. And who am I to say that they surely don’t know? According to the theory, Orion, Venus, and other entities in galaxies far far away were aligned in such a way that interstellar energy forces created conditions on earth that took down the great Atlantis. Not everyone went down with the proverbial ship. It’s been handed down that some high priests managed to get off the island before it wnet under and they made sail for Egypt.
They then stored this information about the universe in the Circle Of Gold!
This information then was handed down from generation to other civilizations, eventually winding up in the hands of the Mayans. What’s the odds? Who knows. Stay with me now. For those who understand the heavens (I’m not in that group), the stars will once more be aligned as they were July 27, 9792, on Dec. 21, 2012. But, it makes for a good book which has been entitled, The Orion Prophecy!
Patrick Geryl and Gino Ratinckx who wrote the book in 2002 contend that in the year 2012, the earth awaits a super catastrophe: its magnetic field will turn over in one go. Phenomenal earthquakes and tidal waves will completely destroy our civilization. Europe and North America will shift thousands of miles northwards and will get a polar climate. Nearly the whole earth’s population will perish in the apocalyptical happenings.
Talk about pessimism! How about if we just use 12-21-12 to bring Atlantis back to teh surface instead of all the other sutff!
