2012 Hype or Hope?  End of the world or new era? Get the facts and decide for yourself!

Is it possible to have the North and South pole reverse roles? And if so what would that mean? Let me begin by saying that Dannion Brinkley thinks so and he so stated 30+ years ago. Dannion was talking on the telephone when a bolt of lightning hit the phone line, sending thousands of volts into his head and down through his body. He was pronounced DOA and a death certificate was issued. But, he woke up a half hour later.

As doctors pronounced Brinkley dead at the local hospital, he reportedly found himself traveling through a dark tunnel toward an angelic being who led him into a crystal city. Are you ready to dismiss this story already?

There, he entered a cathedral of knowledge where he was shown 13 beings of light who also showed him 117 glimpses of possible future events, of which 100 have come to pass: including the Chernobyl nuclear disaster and the Persian Gulf War. It’s getting a bit more interestging now isn’t it. But, get this. Dannion has been declared dead THREE times. It’s one thing to have a NDE, but THREE?

But, here’s where I wanted to land.

Brinkley said that of the 17 visions that’s not yet come to pass, one was to happen between 2012 and 2014. Aha! Now we know where this is going. He specifically recalls, “There will be a return of an energy system that existed here a long time ago and it would culminate in an electromagnetic polar shift and thereby present humankind with a spiritual opportunity to raise it’s consciousness.”

One might easily blow this vision off it wasn’t something that others hadn’t talked about, not had ancient cultures alluded to as well. And then we’ve got this scientific (really?) Sun-Earth-Jupiter alignment thing when longitudes of Earth and Jupiter exact allowing the “Jupiter Wind” to potentially cause a reversal oof our poles. Say What?

The potential for a Sun-Earth-Jupiter near perfect alignment to cause a geomagnetic pole reversal is real. And in the event of a reversal, or even a relatively short-term excursion of the geomagnetic pole, the results would be considerably more than a disruption of communication links around the globe. The effects of such a pole shift could cause everything from major disruptions in the lives of human and animals (conceivably both positive and negative effects) to catastrophic earth changes. The latter might include extensive volcanic activity, massive earthquakes, and substantial movements of continental plates. Did I mention that 2012 is the sun spot peak as well as the twenty two year sun pole reversal cycle?

So, what’s the $64,000 question?

When is the next “window of opportunity” for such an event? Would you believe December 2, 2012? How many more things can we add to this infamous year anyway? Don’t ask!
