Whatever the year 2012 or thereabouts portends, I think we can agree on a couple of issues. It’s not so much the exact date of December 21, 2012, as it is the era that has on the one hand so many chances for total destruction on the one hand and the opportunity to a jump in collective consciousness on the other hand. While I am a proponent of the latter, I realize the potential for the former scenario.
The world is endangered by more than a Christian-Muslim terrorists confrontation. We’re rapidly destroying the rain forests from which some of the greatest medicinal discoveries of the past century have come. There’s also the major issues regarding global warming. Something is afoot. Something is going on and nature is telling us that it’s not good.
Is anyone listening?
Yet on the other hand there’s a shift in consciousness that may just propel us into something akin to an Axial Age II. History simply tells us that there are times, less than 50 years in duration, wherein life as we know it takes a major jump. It not only happened in 600-550BCE, but it happened in the Kepler, Newton, Copernicus era.
Meg Blackburn Losey wrote, “The true meaning of the ancient prophecies relating to nthe year 2012 is that we are going to take a major leap in human evolution. As we enter into a shift of the ages, we have the opportunity, as a collective, to discontinue ignorant existence.” I believe that because we simply have to lest we kill ourselves off with egoic nonsense. We have the incredible dangerous capability to kill not tens of thousands of people, but hundreds of thousands and millions of people in a nanosecond.
What we must do is stop being comfortable with the status quo.
We’ve got to allow people to question the theses and theorems that we operate our life on and go beyond living with conditions that we know we should not. We must go BEYOND THEISM and our antiquated religious ideas that made sense 2,000 years ago, but fly in the face of intellectual integrity- as well as common sense. We have been living largely in an illusional and delusional world- that we created. Our capability, our consciousness, is not how we THINK, but WHO WE ARE! That’s a big difference! We are ONE with the Creator of the universe. We live in the ether or this universe, we breath the air of the Spirit, and we touch and impact the energy field that sustains us.
