There’s not just one lie, but many; however, I want to address what I see as a major archtypical belief that scientists and most of humanity have been believing for 300+ years. We experienced a mini-axial age window in the 17th century when Newton reformed and changed how the world and universe was viewed- even though the church refused the scientific accomplishments.
While major positive truths were discovered such as the move from a geocentric paradigm to a heliocentric one, the over-arching lie was that in the scope of this vast universe that had no bounds, we as homo sapien sapiens were totally insignificant in the scheme of things. We were helpless, hopeless, and little more than spittle in an ocean with no shore.
In the last 2-3 decades we’ve come (scientists leading the way out of the mold that they built) to the place where we no know that we’re no longer insignificant. In fact, it’s just the opposite. Leading the way into this new paradigm has been the discovery (that’s on-going) that the empty space isn’t really empty! I know, that’s a bit difficult to wrap your mind around.
And then secondly that what we think, how we feel, what we see physically and non-physically really does change the world: out there, and in here. Can you say non-local healing?
You are I SHARE our beings, our bodies, our thoughts with the larger universe. Different groups call this sahred play ground by several names: the field, mind of God, divine matrix, and quantum hologram to mention a few. What we think and feel, our belief waves, impact, alter, and change the universal stuff-soup that all exists in.
New universal truths are being recognized.
So, as we come to the proverbial fork in the road (between now and 2012) we need to decide which road we’ll take. One leads to destruction (man-made and otherwise), and the other leads to an enlightened era (axial age II?) that some call the Sons of God, age of enlightenment, or the golden era. Mayans and Hopi Indians have other names of course.
Gregg Braden asks this question, “What responsibility do we have to use our power in the presence of what are arguably the greatest threats to the future of our lives, our world, and even our species.” What responsibility indeed! Would you not agree that minimally it would be to no longer believe the 300 year old scientific lie that we’e insignificant peas and a universal pod?
