2012 Hype or Hope?  End of the world or new era? Get the facts and decide for yourself!

For those that take some time to look back into our history, there are some remarkable discoveries. If the sages are right in that we can’t know where we are or where we are going until we know where we’ve been, we’re in a lot of trouble. But more amazingly to me is that we are just now discovering (because we’re just now smart enough) things that ancient cultures before us knew thousands of years ago. How’d they know what we didn’t know say in 1950?

How was it possible for the Great Pyramids to be built? How’d they do that?

How was it possible for the Mayans to know that the universe was traversed by a thin black hole when the discovery of black holes is a recent scientific phenomena- for us moderns. The Mayans called it the “dark rift“, the womb of the universe.

In Mesoamerican mythology, there were and are the stories on Nine Underworlds. We’re coming to piece together what all this meant. Carl Johan Calleman is one of the experts who has broken these Nine Underworlds into nine slices or eras of time. And he has tied each one to the Mayan calendar and appointed each one a “frame of consciousness“.

For those that don’t believe the primarily Biblical view that the world began in 4013 BCE, Calleman’s dating, which goes back 16.4 billion years, seems to make sense. In each of these nine worls, Mesoamerican mythology had created (if our understanding is correct) a cycle 20 tgimes shorter than the one upon which it ws built. Thus the oldest Mammmalian underworld of 16.4 billion years ago, was followed by the Familial underworld which was 41 million years ago, followed by the Tribal underworld, of 2 million years ago, followed by the regional Underworld of 102,000 years ago, and so on.

Why have so many ancient societies pointed to the year 2012? And many to the exact date of December 21, 2012?

Each Underworld era brought forth some significant event. The first Underworld of coruse was the BIG BANG, followed by th first primates, then the first humans, and so on- through all nine. Further the Underworlds are related to the sequentially activated crystalline line structures in the earth’s inner core. Without going too deep into areas that neitehr you nor I can grasp, let me make the key point.

We in our industrialized, digital, and sophisticated (so we think) world, have not a clue as to how advanced previous societies and cultures were. We’re not as smart in many ways as they were. And, until we come to the place on honoring them and stepping down from our arrogant step ladders, we’ll continue to be disadvantaged. Those who came before (dozens of cultures) pointed to the year 2012 for many varied reasons.

Are we going to ignore such and continue walking in our pride?
