As we move forward in ways never before exponentially seen, our heads are spinning. Can we keep up with the speed at which digital bits keep flying at us? Are there no boundaries anymore? Can we be Americans and yet universalists in the sense that we know we’re not an island but one with all? And what is universal interpenetration?
Simply speaking interpenetration to penetrate mutually or the act or process of penetrating between or within other substances; mutual penetration; also, the result of a process of interpenetration. But what’s up with universal penetration?
As we move towards 2012, greater issues are going to be coming forth than who is American, who serves Allah, or is global warming real or not. The more important question would be about galatic warming, not global warming. We have roots in the universe whether we know it or not.
Larry Dossey gives us a common denominator, common sense approach to where we’re headed over the next few years when he wrote, “There is only one way to partake of the universe. that way is characterized by reverence- a reverence born of a felt sense of participation in the universe, of a kinship with all others and with all matter.”
Are we talking pantheism here?
Let’s leave theism and religion out of the going-forward equation and let’s focus on energy, spirituality, and oneness. This also means that we’ll need to elevate our attention from what Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. What’s going on in Georgia and South Ossetia are important, and Iraq must be dealt with but there are much bigger fish to fry and we need people who can rise above the obvious physical going on and go deep within the consciosuness and conect to The consciousness- where our answers for the future can be found.
