Yellowstone Supervolcano

When people speak of the impending events of December 21, 2012, they are making one assumption that none can make. Who has a guarantee that one will make it over the next five years? And what is it that the terrorists know that our politicians can’t tell us? On March 11,2004 the Madrid bombings carried a message related to our very own Yellowstone Supervolcano that most have not heard anything about. I’ve been to Yellowstone and I can still smell the sulfur!

Who Wants Cheaper Auto Insurance?

The Yellowstone Caldera in Yellowstone National Park is located in the northwest corner of Wyoming. The caldera was discovered in the 1960s and 1970s. After a BBC television science program coined the term supervolcano in 2000, it has often been referred to as the “Yellowstone supervolcano.” And it is MASSIVE!

It explodes every 700,000 years so what’s the problem?

The problem is that the 700,000 year date is now due, give or take a few thousand years. SO what’s to worry about? Well let me give you two things to at least consider!

1-That message from the Madrid terrorist spoke of setting off a “black wind of death” in America by setting off a nuclear device in the Yellowstone Lake which just needs a pin-prick to blow.
2-A 1993 NASA infrared photographic equipment designed for moon scanning revealed the largest single caldera ever in history! A what?

Calderas are large underground depressions containing magma, solid and liquefied rock, as well as highly combustible volcanic gases that are super-charged! Unlike normal or conventional volcanoes, supervolcanoes aren’t dome, but depressions. And guess what! The Yellowstone supervolcano is showing massive movements of late. Geologist and geophysicist, Robert B. Smith has reported that the Yellowstone Lake’s topographical distortion is so great of recent that the caldera upon which it rests is tilting such that water is now draining out the South end of the Lake. Trees that were once on dry land are being inundated.

Think we should ask Grandma Chandra her opinion?

A caldera is a volcanic feature formed by the collapse of land following a volcanic eruption. They are often confused with volcanic craters. The word ‘caldera’ comes from the Spanish language, meaning “cauldron”. Yellowstone, like the Hawaiian Islands, is believed to lie on top of one of the planet’s few dozen hot spots where light, hot, molten mantle rock rises towards the surface.

Supervolcanos, of which there are only a few, are far more powerful than conventional volcanoes. The VEI rating (volcanic explositivity index) of all volcanoes is from 1-8 with 4 being average. All supervolcanos carry an EIGHT rating. Ground zero isn’t New York but Montana and Wyoming. Check it out Robert Redford!

The bulge in the bottom of Yellowstone lake is growing, distortions are happening more rapidly, ground surface temperatures have reached 200F degrees (in 2003) causing a 200 mile basin to be closed, and we have terrorists talking about what might be done to cause this caldera to explode. But, the news in America is will Britney Spears lose her kids or wear panties the next time she’s out drinking.

Houston, America, World, we have a problem and we don’t have to wait until 2012 to experience it.

On December 21st 2012 the world will explode. I know this because someone can see the future. He can also see ghosts and he can see the future. I have a question. what will we do on the 20th december 2012? how will the earth explode?

From what I have understood the ash from Yellowstone would cover most of Americas bread basket, the Midwest, and if that happens most of the world will starve long before anything else happen.

Remember Y2K? Did the world end? Did computers stop? This is fear talking to the people. 2012, will the world end? No. Everything will continue, so don’t fear the devil. Why is there 27,000 different versions of the bible? The bible has been changed and manipulated over the years by politics. Nobody know what is real anymore. If Yellowstone blows, the ash will cover the world. Probably for several years. No light. Remember that the fear has been put in you by what you read and by government. That is the truth.

Actually, the Mayan calender, which has not erred I might add locates the date Dec. 21, 2012 as the end of the age. It is also projected by Nostradamus, I also might add as a time when a comet named Nibiru will pass between the sun and earth. The gravatational pull will reset the planetary poles and in so doing will cause extreme internal pressure that will cause the yellowstone cauldron to erupt. He says the explosion will calve the coastal shelves and seven tidal waves will follow. The arrival of the comet has been scientifically verified.
There are still many other catastrophic weather related and earth shift related events before that. The major problem of an unnatural type is that Iran, the Hezbollah and those of radical Islam believe they must wipe away Israel and cause nuclear holocaust with the US to bring to the front their Mahi…or Messiah.
The world war told of Nostradamus is when….a man FROM the east will come (here) in his 40’s of Muslim decent. He will vex the people with his charm (bewitching) and smooth words and many will follow. He will be elected to the office of President and events in the east will bring about WW3. Directed at 2009-2012.
Obama..nation that causes desolation sitting in the most holy (powerful) seat in the world. Biblical account.
…and the skies will go dark and the sun will appear blood red…..
Hallelujiah its time to go home.

The Mayan Calendar is correct - 12/21/2012 is the end of an age. But guess what - 12/22/2012 will mark the beginning of the next age. It does not predict the end of the world, simply the end of an age based on astronomical factors. We don’t believe the world ends at the end of each day, month or year. Why does everyone think it will happen at the end of age? The Mayans were incredible astronomers and very knowledgable about the movement of the solar system and planets.

The supervolcano would end life as we know it if, and only if, it exploded. Those facts about 2012 are all scientifically correct although I may have to check on the Obama thing. As for California, of course it hasn’t fallen into the ocean. Even if it did show signs of leaving the mainland, continental drift can take millions of years. I also agree about the 12/22/12 being the beginning of a new age. God says that the next time he will bring the world to an end it will be with fire. FIRE!!! I think a volcano and especcially a supervolcano may be the cause of that. However I am going to live life normally even on 12/21/12 because what if we are all mistaken. Like you said before, the Meillenium Bug never happened, planet x never crashed and so much more. Are we all are just trying to create stories so the world will listen to us? We could all be so wrong! Just live life normally and if it does come to an end so be it.

2012 is not the end of the world according to Nostradamus. Nostradamus clearly stated, in plain French that his prophecies would extend to the year 3797. According to a letter written to one of his sons, the seer claimed this is the year the world will end. His prophecies go to 3797!!!!

The 2012 date comes from the Mayan “Y2K date” when most common version of the mayan long-count calendar will run out of digits “overflow”. However while these kinds of dates were significant to the Maya there is absolutely no evidence they thought the world would end then. There are plenty of dates featuring more than 5 digits that refer to events in the far future or past.

People keep mistaking the Mayan calander ending in 2012 as the end of the world. It was obvious to millions of people who know exactly what this means and that it is NOT the end, but a NEW cycle and most people that know this believe it will bring in a golden age.

The only thing I believe about 2012 is that worrying about it ruins your life. I know this because I was worried, and during these months I woke up and fell asleep with the same anxiety and feeling of emptiness and hopelessness. I was alive in the physical sense, but I was not living. That’s what chronic fear does to you.
What contributed to my fear? Idiotic websites with with a 100:1 ratio of contributions from doomsayers to contributions from actual educated people who are well-versed in not only science but the Bible.
Both science and the Bible deny any reason to be worried about 2012. Supposedly Nostradamus also predicted 2012 to be the end, and, excuse my inconclusiveness, but he believes the end of the world will happen either in the 3,000s or 30,000s. I realize this is a large time frame (sorry for not paying attention to that extra zero), but certainly neither is 2012.
Furthermore, and this is the real deal for me here: The Bible clearly states that noone, not Jesus, not the angels, and therefore certainly not WE, will know when the Apocalypse is coming except GOD, the omniscient and omnipitent creator of all. Have you met God and discussed His plans for the universe over tea and biscotti? No. In fact, the only subject you can probably be considered well-versed in is how happy Brad and Angelina are this week and Britney’s post-baby body.
Now, about this Yellowstone business. Due to erupt? Maybe, but certainly not on our scale of time measurement. We take “due to erupt” to mean This week, but if we pray to the volcano gods maybe we get till next summer. But consider this: if the approximate 4.5-billion history of the Earth were fit into a 24-hour time frame, humans would only be present a minute of those 24 hours. The time since the Industrial Revolution would take up all of a second. Overdue? Consider it in the context of eternity. Sure, it could blow in 25 seconds. But it could also blow in 100,000 years or more.
Point is, make those 25 seconds the happiest of your life, and then what will you have lost? Live each day to the fullest. Don’t try to outsmart God.
And that’s when you truly have “nothing to worry about.”

I too can get really upset and worried about world events scientists say will soon take place. But then I have to remember who is is I belong to and what He has to say to me. Jesus promised that not a hair of my head will be lost! Though my body will die and to anyone around me, I appear to live no more, I will yet be alive and with my Lord, me, not someone looking like me and not in a dream state, but the real me seeing Him face to face and knowing it.
I have to hold on to this and also remember that although some great tradgedy is said to be getting ready to happen, a plain could crash into my house, I could get hit by a bus crossing the street, I could step on a rake and have it hit me hard in the head, anything could take me from this earth long before something big and terrible happens. I need to be ready to see my Lord now and not worry about what tommorrow ‘might’ bring because no one is promised tomorrow. Each day we wake up is a blessing and when we meet our Lord will be the greatest blessing of all!
So if Yellowstone blows, if Al’Qada nukes our cites, if all the violent gangs on earth get together and take it over, if famine, nakedness, desease, if anything happens, I’m in the hands of my Lord and Saviour and everything, EVERYTHING is going to come out just fine!
When we listen to the world, we find fear. When we listen to God, we find calm. We can’t change whatever is going to happen here and if we study God’s Word, we know that many things are about to happen, have happened and are happening even now that were predicted in Scripture. God, in His Word, the Bible is the ONLY bood ever in history to be 100% correct in every single prediction ever made, down to the year, month, week, day and hour. There has never been anyone, any book, anything else ever, not ever that was every 100% correct in it’s predictions. So what does this tell us? That God knows what no one else knows and that if we stay close to HIm, He will do what His Word promises us! We can’t deny part of the Bible while saying another part is 100% correct. We take it all or we leave it all. We can’t divide God’s Word, it’s all truth and we need to take it to heart. That way, we’ll be ready to meet Him whether that’s tomorrow or a long way off.
I hope I helped someone reading this to take comfort. God alone is in control, no one else, NO ONE ELSE!

the date of december 21, 2012 is the last prophesy of the world ending and this should raise some consern.it didn’t happen in 2000 and 2001 because the real prophesy of 2012 was here first, beginning with the myans and maybe earlier.how could something happen then if it was actually predicted to happen in 2012.the good thing is it was the first and it is the last prophesy of our impending doom.this means that if it doesn’t happen then, then there is no later prophesied date hanging over our heads.Revolation also talks about the end and about how people won’t see it coming.now because of the false predictions of 2000 and 2001 no one believes it will really happen,so it becomes prime time for it to happen.

How is the world going to explode?? Well,,, the world isn’t going to explode,, Yellowstone is. The world would most likely end(if its due to this super volcano) because of the pyroglastic flows and volcanic ash. You see, these things can harm you the pyroglastic flow(p.f) travels very quickly and it can easily catch up to you. And when this happens then it can suffocate you, blind you, and preserve your body with the volcanic ash. People will stay in shelter and sit and wait to be rescued, but after this happens that could take days, weeks, even months. They are going to starve just sitting there. It would be better for people to walk in the ash, they will get alot farther. But anyways it doesnt matter this will someday happen, we are overdue for the explosion, so it could be hours, days, months, even years. So either way we will die. Just be sure to know God.

12/22 is my birthday; I will be 40 years old on 12/22/2012. On that day a new age will begin and I will be there to lead the survivors. How will we exit the current age and enter the new? The Age of the Jaguar ends and when the jaguar dies, its body will shiver and quake. There will be mass destruction from the gravitational pull of the sun rising in alignment with the center of the galaxy and the polar shift. Most of the people on Earth will die.

You can’t stop the world from changing, it will happen ,sometimes very slow and other times extremely fast and violent. What you can do instead of worrying is have a plan of survival, a plan that you will LIVE and when the time comes do what you need to do.
The ones who give up or stay close minded to change and these possibilities are not going to be survivors. The end/new era could be any event or a combination of events, just know that when the time comes, if it comes society as you know it will break down, laws will cease to exist and it will be every man for himself.
My thoughts about the end being the super volcano are that it is a top of the list possibility and if you live within 2000 miles of this when it erupts, you better be heading away asap. For my Christian friends if you hear this volcano erupted and you haven’t been raptured in the first 2 minutes, i suggest you follow my group east.
Do nothing you will die, be prepared and you may live.

Hello Happy Humans: Look something will happen soon to regulate the situation we have here on earth. No one really knows what, but you can be sure it will put a damper on the population. Let’s face it most of the human race really has no clue to what love, compassion, and self reliance are? Most of us are products of our own upbringing and have no desire for inner peace and happiness. Religion will bring most of us down as well. The natives had it right , worship mother nature, all else is man made and designed to control you. No one has been beyond and back with pictures and a show and tell, so it is time to let go of thinking we know what is out there? Live happy, show good will and treat all things and people with respect, nothing else can be expected of you. If this does not move your soul somewhere else, when all this stuff goes down, then you have done all that you could have and so be it!
    Good Luck
P.S> you might want to store up some food and get the hell away from the oceans.

I appriciate everyones’ comments regarding this issue, its great that we talk about things like this so that our minds are open to new things.

I am a 23 year old male living in the USA.

Ever since I was young, I knew that I would have an early death or knew that a great purification would take our planet. I consider that to be a gift from God, that I do not fear death, at all. It only saddens me to think that so many people will die, but it is the will of God who is all powerful.

2012 will be “death” as we know it for our way of life. Not apocalypse of EVERY living thing although I do believe at least 50% of ALL living things on Earth will die.

All prophecy, religion, and dreams aside~ IF something WERE to happen, wouldn’t you be prepared in some way? Personally, I am preparing my soul for death so that the transition to the spirit realm will be smoother.

Where do I find so much comfort? My relationship with God, and his only son Jesus Christ is very real. Anything is possible in God.

So, do not fear. Its going to happen and there is nothing our race can do to stop it. We aren’t THAT important; over time, we humans have put ourselves on a pedestal. Thinking we are so important that we can control/manipulate our planet, our neighbors, and our future. This is WRONG.

I’ve always believed our way of life isn’t right. We are motivated by greed instead of the welfare and welbeing of our people and planet. All great civilizations come to an end.

Prepare yourself and DO NOT FEAR~

The bible says that those who do not believe will die, not from anything that will happen on earth, but that fear itself will cause them to drop dead for they have no place in the afterlife.

Love and peace be with you all.

k so everyone thinks this is goin to be the end of the world but just sit and think about this… this is NOT the end of the world. i think that this will probably be like reseting everythin with the coming of a new age. the yellowstone volcano will erupt when the earth’s rotation gets knocked out of place and we will be put back into an ice age from the ash from the supervolcano. Isnt that how every age is started is with an icy period? maybe its all just a cycle thats repeated over and over again we cant do anythin about it and should just do wat we can to prepare for it.

In the Bible, they say that the number of the beast will come and take us all. But the one who wrote that was talking about a ruler who’s name was equal to the number of the beast. It wasnt our time that the world was going to end but it was their time.
So stop thinking about whats going to happen now and just live your life. People worry about death so much. When the time comes it comes.

Christina, your friend said they could see the future but not HOW these things happen? Why would this person tell you then? I know many psychics, and they all say a huge event will happen, lots of people will die, and changes will occur, but no one has ever said the world will blow up, unless he has seen the future of a giant space station called the Death Star approaching. I’m very open to visions, and I often find it hard to justify why our sick, violent race would not deserve the doomsday they predict EVERY millennium. However, please, start using your own intuition, or question the hell out of people who claim to know the future. If you understood the fabric of time, it is only slightly possible to foretell it. So please stop giving psychics a bad and and keep the fear mongering to yourself. we are floating on a rock spinning out of control in an endlessly chaotic universe. ANYTHING could happen. try working on your own intuition before trying to act as arrogant as the person who fed you a hook. or how about we meet back on this site on that day so one of us can say I told you so.

And David, I actually agree with you, but it is hypocritical of you to assume that your religion had anything to do with the movements of souls. I am a Taoist, and I meditate so as to fear nothing. Do not lie and say you literally know Jesus, because that is cruel to try and manipulate the hopes and uncertainties of so many for the sake of your own fears of the possible absence of a GOD. Admit you do not know what happens after death, or else according to your own god, you are guilty of breaking one of your own rules, idle worship. Life is too precious to fear the possibility of there not being a giant male GOD sitting in the sky controlling everything. DO not lie namelessly when you yourself are guilty of fear. otherwise, my heart goes out to you.
