2012 Magnetic Pole Reversal?

The facts that I have learned about our planet and solar system as a result of 2012 are way beyond what I bargained for. For example, a magnetic pole reversal is simply the switching out of North and South Poles while a POLE SHIFT is a movement in the molten lava core of our planet that actually shifts the earth’s axis of rotation. And armed with that information I doubt I could get anyone to engage me in conversation over a cup of coffee.

Let me move into what appears to me to be a little bit of a DOUBLE JEOPARDY regarding 2012 and all of this.

There are two things that we’ve come to validate. A magnetic pole reversal happens first of all when there has been a sustained reduction in the earth’s magnetic strength. And guess what? We’re seeing that happen. Just over the last 150 years the earth’s magnetic strength has dropped by 10%. It will have to speed up over the next three years, but no one is saying it can’t, nor won’t.

Secondly, is the increased energy coming from the sun. Enough energy emanating from increased sun spot activity can greatly destabilize the magnetic field: a field that is already on the ropes: borrowing from a boxing metaphor. The potential 30-50% increase in sun spot activity that’s predicted for 2012 does not bode well for planet earth.

This potential double jeopardy is more than a possibility. It’s a matter of intensity.

Finally then, what would be the result of a magnetic pole reversal since none of us have lived through one? Speculations from those who have far more insight and scientific information than I would say: tidal waves, tectonic plate shift, numerous earthquakes, major flooding, and a plethora of volcanic eruptions. Need we say more? Life as we know it would be over, gone, done with, and history!

And our poor feathered friends would be showing up in places they’d never before visited. :-)

Needless to say, the North pole is already moving. Many think that we can thank the December 26, 2004 earthquake and tsunami for that. the North pole has moved from Northern Canada and is heading toward Siberia. I suppose the Russians will now claim ownership to that too! Stuff that we’ve never ever before experienced is happening. Who would have thought that the 12-26-2004 earthquake would alter the shape of the earth and jar the planet into a slightly different axis of rotation.

What we’ve not experienced, we soon may!

Good reading. And I agree, the event that will occur on 12.21.12…should and will have notable effects, considering the alignment of our Solar System with the Milky Way….the gravitational forces in play will result in catastrophe never before seen …At least not by modern mankind. But I have no vacation or other events planned on that particular date. So, I’ll just take the day off of work on Friday, Dec. 21st, 2012….Get myself a front row seat on my lawn and, ….just watch the “show”!…Just hope there’s an “encore”….

whats the differance we as a civilization have built weapons of mass destrution .we are on a path of destruction ether way we go.i hope that those who live through this will not practice the way of war but will practice peace unity for we only have one home

I do not believe that the world will surely end at 12/21/12. Science is yet too young to theorize such a mass destruction of earth. I do believe that these cataclysmic events will happen at the future, but not exactly at 12/21/12. Imagine the possibility of that happening to 12/21/12. It is futile!

The most likely theorized event I believe will happen, if possible, in 2012 is a huge manetic reversal which will down earth’s universal radiowaves for a moment but we will be able to cope with it easily.

I am a Christian, and I have a few words to say.
    1. In the Bible it says that nobody except the Father knows when the end will be.
    2. Pole reversals are a natural occurence. They are mentioned in Egyptian hieroglyphs etc. and did the world end there? no.
3.All end of the world predictions have been wrong, so chances are 2012 won’t be the end.
