The Big Bang!

The Large Hadron Collider in Cern is a massive and expensive project wherein we are attempting to discover how the universe was formed at the BIG BANG. Our long held theory from the more etheral-spiritual side that God created the universe out of nothing. Or, if one’s religion is that of scientific materialism, it’s the same theory or postulate. But, what IF God created the universe out of everything?

Say that again Sam!

Okay, put away your Newtonian physics book. After all quantum physics has made much of Newtonian physics inoperable from many fronts. Stephen Hawking has been changing our thoughts on the possibilities of BLACK HOLES. Wherein we once thought they sucked in everything in sight and destroyed it, much theory now looks at the possibility that those BLACK HOLES are just tunnels or worm holes to a new universe.

Could a black hole thus create another universe?

Is there but ONE universe and what’s the logic or verification for such a theory? Was the universe created from nothing or was OUR universe created from EVERYTHING? Could there be a “Mother Universe” (pick an adjective) with many black holes like ours and the BIG BANG (that created our universe) the result of the back side of a black hole from another universe?

Too far-fetched?

Amazing that philosopher David Hume wrote in 1779, “Many prior universes might have been botched and bungled throughout an eternity, before ours.” Ah, but he was just a philosopher pondering his navel. Yet, astrophysicist John Gribbin, writes, “Instead of a black hole representing a one-way journey to nowhere, many researchers now believe that it is a one way journey to somewhere- to a new and expanding universe in its own set of dimensions. If one universe exists, then it seems there must be many.”

Once we remove the traps that we’ve set for our MINDS and step out of the doctrinal BOXES that we have built (both scientific and spiritual), who knows what we might discover- perhaps the DIVINE that we ARE?

Could we be on our way to doing that by 12.21.2012? :-)
