Things are happening to migrating birds, the landing of planes, and other magnetic anomalies. But, we’re too caught up in what Britney Spears did last night, who did or didn’t wear under panties, how many superdelegates Obama has, and will Bush bomb Iran’s nuclear plants or should we let Israel do it. Life is an interesting mixed bag isn’t it?

There is a big picture- a much bigger picture!

I am talking big as in every 25,920 years- the procession of the equinoxes. Like a wobbling top, the direction of the Earth’s axis is changing; while today, the North Pole points roughly to Polaris, over time it will change. Because of this wobble, the position of the earth in its orbit around the sun at the moment of the equinoxes and solstices will also change.

Every 2,160 years the earth points to a new constellation!

Every 13,00 years (roughly), the earth points either away from the center of our galaxy or towards it. On the winter solstice of December 21, 2012 the axis of the earth will point towards the center. Most scientists are of the opinion that the magnetic pole (of the earth) changes every 13,000 years. Some 13,000 years ago what we now all the North Pole was located at what’s now known as Hudson Bay.

The Sumerians knew of this more than 6,000 years ago!

Prior to a pole shift, we begin to experience magnetic changes and abnormalities. Scientists have noted that our magnetic filed has been weakening over the last 25-50 years in a major increasing way. Ever since 2005, birds have had trouble migrating as never before noticed and scientists are talking more and more about the possibility of a reversal of the poles.

Bottom line? The earth’s magnetic field is beginning to talk to us. Is anyone listening?

Few people are aware that beneath our feet, albeit a long ways under our feet, is a molten core. Slippage of the outer part of the Earth relative to the inner is an historical process that scientists are sure has happened before. It’s a process called polar wander! Such an event would produced a global redistribution of surface topology, although the planet’s spin axis would have remained fixed. Magnetic pole reversal, mantle shift, polar wander : are you kidding me? Who can figure it all out?

The crustal plates, which normally float about on top of the mantle at a pace of perhaps centimeters per year could now, and many think has in the past, moved at rates up to a meter per year. Many feel that this is exactly what Edgar Cayce has spoken of and predicted back in 1933. But, who knows what he or Nostradamus meant back then? What are current day scientists saying? Is there any tangible empirical evidence that something is happening right under our feet?

Is it related to December 21, 2012?

Scientists analyzing observations of polar wander conclude that between 1900 and 1992, the Earth’s pole of rotation has drifted southward toward Toronto, Ontario. I’ll save you all the mathematical details. Trust me!

The speed of this drift, or pole shift, approximates 33 ft per century. It is due to “some sort of mass redistribution” within the Earth. Thus, the Earth is currently undergoing a very slow shift in the average location of the north pole of the rotation axis. And this means what: at 33 feet per century?

A mantle-slip is shorthand for “the slip of the Earth’s crust (lithosphere) and mantle over the liquid core. A pole shift is brought about by differential movement between the Earth’s crust with respect to the deeper layers of our planet. It is this swirling inner molten core whose mass and momentum govern planetary rotation. This type of shift has profound implications for the redistribution of centrifugal forces over Earth’s surface, and for sea-level changes worldwide, new distributions of land and sea areas, and extreme geotectonic events.

In January 19, 1934 Edgar Cayce is said to have have channeled (getting deeper now) the archangel Halaliel. Now how can I or anyone refute this? “The earth will be broken up in the Western portion of America…and there will be shifting of the poles- so that where there has been those of a frigid or the semitropical will become more tropical, and moss and fern will grow. Sounds a bit like Grandma Chandra here.

Be it ancient Biblical prophets, centuries old mystics, native American Indian tribes, or Children of Now, they are all saying that something BIG is coming. What, when, how? No one knows for sure, but we should be watchful and diligent to fine tune our consciousness that we might know in advance for sure. We can!

Yes, WE CAN!

Where are modern day scientists regarding the secrets of a polar shift? Is there any reality to the 2012 polar shift theories or are they just ancient Mayan mystical mumbo jumbo? The theory is a hypothesis that the axis of rotation of a planet has not always been at its present-day locations. Interpretation of tongues: the North Pole was once a tropical climate. How does that happen- or did it?

Have our physical poles reversed in the past?

Pole shift theory is almost always discussed in the context of Earth, but other solar system bodies may have experienced axial reorientation . Pole shift theories are not the same as plate tectonics, the well-accepted geological theory that the Earth’s surface consists of solid plates which shift with continental drift.

Neither are pole shift theories are also not the same as Geomagnetic reversal, the periodic reversal of the earth’s magnetic field (effectively switching the north and south magnetic poles). Geomagnetic reversal has more acceptance in the scientific community than pole shift theories.

Author, Partick Geryl says, “In 2012 the next polar reversal will take place on earth. This means that the North Pole will be changed into the South Pole. Scientifically this can only be explained by the fact that the earth will start rotating in the opposite direction, together with a huge disaster of unknown proportions.”

Not good!

So, maybe we should embark on getting in touch with our true self, the Creator of ALL, and develop our consciousness so that we can know the truth of who we are, why we are here- while we can! Let’s not be faced with an ugly 2012 Halloween!
