What in the world is this and what’s whatever it is got to do with 2012? Well, maybe nothing if you’re expecting the end of the world, but then again maybe something great if you’re looking for a leap in consciousness for humanhood. Let’s break it down. The biosphere is that part of the Earth which includes the air, land, surface rocks, and water, within which life occurs, and which biotic processes in turn alter or transform. Watching the Democratic convetion there’s a sense of deja vu, like haven’t we been here before? And the answer is YES and the answer is NO. How many times around the mountain did the Hebrews have to go, how many wasted years out there in the desert looking for the Promise Land that wasn’t all that far off. New Planetary Culture

More people are worried about the Islamic-Christian (or rest of the world) antagonisms than they are a Planet X- should it really exist. Other’s are more concerned about running out of oil than they are the sunspot peak in 2012. and then we have those that are so cocnerned about the quarter of an inch raise in the ocean level due to melting ice caps and global warming. Who has time to ethink about what may or may not happen 4+ years from now? (more…)

Living On Borrowed Time

At the current rate of population growth and how we are literally burning up and using up our natural resources, just how long do you think we can continue to exist? Earth is our home and there’s no place else that we can go, soon enough, to escape the ticking time bomb that we’re building. Can we live without trees? A New Cosmology?

A new one? What s the old one? Cosmology, from the Greek, cosmologia-order and logos (word, reason, plan) is study of the Universe in its totality! So we think as though we know it all? By extension then the conclusions are humanity’s place in it. Though the word cosmology is recent (first used in 1730 by Christian Wolff), the study of the Universe has a long history involving science, philosophy, esotericism, and religion. Every now and then someone logs onto 2012 Final Fantasy web site and looks at one article, out of hundreds, and says he or she doesn’t agree with the doom and gloom. This web site is devoted to the HOPE that lies within and ahead; however, that is not to deny the realities what might be and what so many ancient cultures saw in their spirit. I learned in playing chickenfoot (dominos) that you don’t want to hold the totally blank domino. In the card ame of hearts you don’t want to get stuck with the queen of spades. It’s like that in life as well. Every now and then you get dealt a hand, a card that you’d rather not have to hold or deal with, but that’s life. Timewave Zero
