I don’t mean to HARP on the conspiracy theory ideas however if there ever was one it would be HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program). HAARP is an ionospheric research program jointly funded by the US Air Force, the US Navy, the University of Alaska and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Bottom line is that it comes under the DOD (Department of Defense) so would that mean it’s more likely to be a military program (Star Wars) or a civilian science project?

You tell me! :-)

The government says that its purpose is to analyze the ionosphere and investigate the potential for developing ionospheric enhancement technology for radio communications and surveillance purposes (such as missile detection). The HAARP program operates a major Arctic facility on an Air Force owned site near Gakona, Alaska. It’s even open to the public. Now if that isn’t a first sign of deception I don’t know what is.

In case you didn’t know it, as of 2008, HAARP had incurred around $250 million in tax-funded construction and operating costs. In other words, we’re paying for this!

As we head into the so-called 2012 window of possibilities more and more “unusual projects” are being brought to our attention. It’s said that we need to study SPACE WEATHER (maybe Al Gore should concentrate his energies there a bit more) because of the possibilities and impact that “space storms” have on planet earth.

Duh!

HAARP is the largest and most powerful DOD facility ever. It’s purely science you know! But, are we studying the weather or are we controlling the weather? HAARP has an unimaginable ability to radiate power in excess of 3.6 BILLION WATTS. It can burn holes in the ionosphere and thus effectively open a window above any geographical location around the globe and FRY any particular land mass without a nuclear bomb- without even destroying the infrastructures.

How cool is that? Answer: not cool if you’re a homo sapien sapien in that zone.

My bet is that you’re going to hear more and more about this project over the next two years because my bet is that this is not a pure civilian science project but something far more mysterious with multiple uses that we’re definitely going to need going forward.
